Great article. I’m originally from San Diego, and for anyone who hasn’t had the pleasure of trying to hit out of unkept kikuyu, its a hoot.
John, just out of curiosity, are you serving as an official in the Open?
I am not working the US Open this year. I got invited to the Amateur, Women’s Am, Women’s Open and Senior Open this year. Unfortunately, due to my schedule, I can only work the Amateur which is at Pinehurst and the US Mid-Amateur since I’m on that Committee.
